How to configure a workstation with dual screens an additional computer.
What we try to achieve: To connect a laptop or other computer equipment and have the ability to control both computers with a single mouse and keyboard. (Not hardware, but on the network)
If you have another laptop or a PC sitting around and wonder how you can connect the two computers and use computer power of each individual process itself for multitasking and speed of your working environment, there an easy way to achieve this dream of yours. In the blog entry I am going to cover all possible ways to achieve this goal.
If you have a screen dual-capable video card, what will do is use a single PC and spread the processing power between the activities and the expansion of the horizontal work area, using an additional screen. But what we're trying to do is take advantage of two separate teams of high speed and use of individual processing power: whereas the ability to control input devices with unique and, finally, creating a workstation DUAL-Screen.
Option 1: Maxivista.com
The program is available on the freeware software and has all the capabilities that we are interested, dual screen, single control, and detection the mirror, all functions performed on the network. So if you want to pay a few extra dollars for a few extra features, this is your best option.
Options 2: VNC programs
You can use win2VNC and a VNC program like UltraVNC, RealVNC, TightVNC or to carry out the characteristic entry control.

Instructions for use: you have to install win2vnc on the computer you want to have control and a VNC program on the other team is going to be controlling devices using computers other inputs. Both teams have to be connected to the Internet and the corresponding IP address is displayed after the running program, which will later be necessary in connecting each other.
Advantages:
– Share input devices (mouse, keyboard) to control two computers and clipboard.
– Use of computer processing of each 'power to perform the tasks, however, both are connected together to ensure an only.
– Setting up dual monitor / workstation
Disadvantages:
– Most programs have tried VNC MaxiVista not allow the exclusion mouse scroll function on the computer-controlled, but only in the control (main / server) computer.
– Despite that both teams seemed connected, only the control of computers, so no applications or windows can be shared. This is what really got to understand, each governed by their own.
– You can not transfer files between two computers using VNC though these programs can use other file transfer programs like teamviwer etc to connect PCs and transfer files.
Option 3: Using hard consumer gadgets.
FYI: This feature is known as FVM which is for keyboard, video, mouse control. Mostly used to control multiple servers with a single mouse, keyboard and monitor.
