Iron Golf Swing – How to master the grill Play
The Masters Tournament puts a huge need in the iron game more than any other golf tournament more important. Here is how to build a golf swing iron copying what the pros do in Augusta!
The lightening fast greens and mind bending slopes of Augusta National put much emphasis on shooting quality golf iron that even the most experienced professional can get hit (see Greg Norman). The 16th hole at Augusta is often the deciding factor in who will win the Masters. Perhaps the most dramatic moment on the 16th hole at Augusta is beating Jack Nicklaus pure-iron shot that almost hidden on their way to their sixth victory in the Masters in 1986. What makes the achievements of Nicklaus on the 16th hole was so incredible the pin placement on Sunday. Because the hole was placed on the back left corner of the green, Nicklaus call to shape his iron shot from right to left, a draw was never one of the suits strong Nicklaus. However, like all great golfers of the past, Nicklaus knew how to run a draw when really needed. Mastering the Sweepstakes:
Since the great majority of amateur golfers fight a slice, the idea of hitting a draw seems daunting, in the best. However, there are really only two simple factors that must be present to produce a ballflight from right to left: the golf club must attack from just inside outward path and the clubface should be free to rotate on the plane during the impact. A good way to visualize this way is to imagine the club hitting the ball in the inside quadrant closest to the golfer. This visual help the club stay behind your body longer on the downswing, allowing the right path in impact.
Another good way to visualize the right way is to imagine the club remaining in his hands as he approached the impact. This prevents the start of the fall in shoulders and arms during the recession and keep the club rolling in the proper plane. One last thing to remember is that it is much easier to get the ball off the tee of land is. Be that as Jack Nicklaus and always put the ball on the tee as possible, even at the par-3.
